Join us for an intimate afternoon of art, conversation, and wine at Tinhorn Creek Vineyards. This complimentary artist talk brings together two West Coast artists whose work is deeply connected to place, process, and personal expression.
Set against the backdrop of the Golden Mile Bench, guests are invited to hear directly from the artists as they share insights into their creative practices, inspirations, and evolving relationships with landscape and material. The conversation will explore how memory, emotion, intuition, and hands-on making shape their work, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the artistic process.

About the Artists
Amy J. Dyck
Amy J. Dyck is a contemporary multimedia figurative artist and writer based near Vancouver, British Columbia. While studying design in her early twenties, she experienced a sudden physical collapse that led to years of debilitating, unexplained illness and the use of a wheelchair. Art-making became a vital tool for coping, understanding, and storytelling. Her lived experience deepened her fascination with the human figure as a vessel of emotion, memory, and struggle. Combining anatomical study, classical drawing and painting, and playful experimentation, Dyck creates narrative-driven work rooted in embodiment. Her work is exhibited internationally, held in private collections, and has earned multiple awards. In 2024, she received a Canada Council for the Arts grant and continues to share her story through exhibitions, talks, and writing.
Lindsay Rempel
Lindsay Rempel is a Canadian painter based in Kamloops, British Columbia, working in bold, contemporary landscape and floral imagery. Her practice centres on painting informed by the landscapes of the region, with a focus on atmosphere, land, and human presence. The work includes large-scale original paintings, public-facing exhibitions, and professionally presented works suited to collector and design-focused environments. Alongside exhibitions, Rempel also creates artist-designed home and lifestyle pieces that extend her visual language beyond the gallery.
